The new firmware update weighs in at roughly 914MB, and those hoping for the highly-requested VRR update (Variable Refresh Rate) will be disappointed to learn that this new system version ain’t that update. At least, the release notes for this firmware version don’t make mention of VRR support. Instead, the official release notes for this new system update only mentioned improved system performance once more. Oh well, we guess it’s just not another stability update....

NIO (NYSE:NIO), one of the largest electric vehicle manufacturers in China, is about to add a sizable tech premium to its valuation as it gears up to launch its own smartphone. We had noted persistent rumors around NIO’s smartphone plans in a dedicated post back in February. Well, the company’s CEO William Li just confirmed those rumors on a talk show, as per the reporting by the China-based news outlet, Sina....

This time around, the focus will be more on streamlining the player experience and providing more options for different types of players. The folks at GameXplain compared No More Heroes III running on Switch and PS5, and the game does indeed look a lot better on Sony’s console. Granted, the basic assets are still relatively simple, but the resolution is much higher (4K/60fps on PS5) lighting is more detailed, and performance is much smoother in the open world (even on Switch, framerates were solid during combat).
