Early Cortex-X3 Samples Provide Little Performance Improvements Over Cortex-X2, but Power Consumption Has Increased Drastically A report seemingly originating from Taiwan states that Qualcomm, Samsung, and MediaTek have inspected early Cortex-X3 samples, and some tweaking might be in order. At the time of writing, the performance difference between Cortex-X2 is not exceptionally high, but power draw is. The reason for this disparity is that AI performance has increased by more than 100 percent, while basic IPC performance does not see a major impact....

In the past few days, I was able to experience a meatier chunk of the promising Soulstice, and the longer gameplay segment not only confirmed my opinion of the game but also made it even more positive. After its test prototype for the Starship launch vehicle caught fire last month, SpaceX has finally inspected the booster and shipped it back to the launch site. Starship is SpaceX’s 394 feet tall rocket that is central to the firm’s plans to not only conduct crewed and uncrewed flights to Mars, but also rapidly build out its Starlink satellite internet constellation. The company is currently building out prototypes of the rocket in its facilities in Boca Chica, Texas and at this front, its Booster 7 is thought to be the first of its kind to be ready to conduct an orbital test flight....

Here’s a bit more information about the Chill Season update… “Big Run is coming! This new game event brings a twist to the co-op survival action of the Salmon Run game mode. The first Big Run will take place when the Salmonids invade the Wahoo World stage later this year....

Recently, the SteamDB listing for Starfield was updated, giving the game a new release date of December 29, 2023. A new “package,” perhaps related to a season pass or other DLC, was also recently added then removed from the Starfield page. Clearly, something is going on behind the scenes with the page. Now, December 29, 2023 is very likely a placeholder date – that would be a very strange time to release a major game – but it could indicate that a late 2023 release is more likely than an early 2023 release for Starfield....

Rather, on February 25th the embargo for press reviews and impressions will lift. Additionally, Valve will send the first batch of order emails to reservation holders, allowing those users to finalize their purchase within the next three days. After that time, if no purchase has been made, the reservation will skip to the next person in the queue. Valve expects to actually ship the first units starting on February 28th....
