As you might have learned by now, the PC version of the game is quite a mess performance-wise. Some days ago, the developer already released a patch that aimed to fix the apparent framerate and crashing issues, and today we have another update that should further reduce stuttering issues. In addition, this new patch aims to improve Pipeline State Object (PSO) caching on PC. Well, today during Sony’s latest State of Play presentation a new Project Eve trailer was released, except the game isn’t called Project Eve anymore. The game now goes by Stellar Blade, but the action looks every bit as intense (and, uh, bouncy) as before. Interestingly, the trailer was also preceded by a “Sony Interactive Entertainment presents” title card, implying the company is now publishing the game, which has been confirmed to be a PS5 console exclusive....

The 1.04 update adjusts anti-aliasing algorithms to improve visual quality. The same adjustments will be coming to the Xbox One version at a later time. The new Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin also introduces a Battle Simulator side mission that essentially works as a practice mission of sorts. If you continue your parry stance after Perfect Parrying a projectile, if you release the parry within a certain period of time, no recovery time for releasing the parry will occur....
