This month, the Japanese publisher delivered an early Christmas gift to fans of their legendary fighting game series, hosting a second closed beta test that features the same content as the first one and some minor balance and system tweaks. As such, players haven’t been able to try out some of the newly revealed characters like Dee Jay, Manon, Marisa, and JP or returning World Warriors like E. Well, today in a new Nintendo Direct, we finally got a real look at the Super Mario Movie, and thankfully, it seems rather promising. Mario himself looks a bit odd, but not too far off the mark, and the Mushroom Kingdom has been recreated in impressive detail. As for Chris Pratt’s voice work as Mario, well… he pretty much just sounds like himself, with a bit of a New York accent perhaps (Jack Black’s Bowser is much better)....

Speaking during an investor call hosted by Baird, as reported by GamesIndustry, Tim Stuart said he expected that the supply chain environment could remain rocky through this year and the upcoming holiday season. After the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) reported its earnings for the third fiscal quarter, the South Korean media is claiming that TSMC’s crucial 3-nanometer manufacturing process is delayed. This, according to a report from Business Korea, has provided Samsung Foundry with an edge since the company kicked off 3-nanometer production earlier this year - an announcement that came with skepticism about the potential orders that Samsung might have received for the new technology....
