[Original Story] Sonic Origins, the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog collection including five classic games, is going to feature two different play modes, among other additional content. A listing for the game has gone up early on the Australian PlayStation Network, as reported on the Sonic Stadium forums, revealing that all of the games included in the collection will be playable in Classic or Anniversary Mode. The first will allow players to experience the games with their original resolution and mechanics, while the second will let them experience the classic Sonic games with a 16:9 aspect ratio and with infinite lives....

At least, that’s what Bloomberg now reports to have heard from sources familiar with the matter. Last week, we reported that Microsoft is willing to offer Sony a 10-year Call of Duty licensing deal in order to shorten the regulatory process, but Bloomberg’s source now claims that conversations with the FTC about offering remedies or concessions haven’t taken place at all. “The Xbox maker hasn’t had conversations with the FTC about remedies or concessions aimed at getting the deal approved, said the person, who asked not to be identified discussing a confidential matter”, the Bloomberg article reads....

On the heels of this news, Ralph Valve shared a rumor that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will feature an exclusive (and free) PlayStation VR2 experience. The demo uses the Nintendo Switch version of the game to be played. As such, the gameplay is locked at 30FPS. According to Japanese financial publication Nikkei, Nintendo only expects to be able to produce 20 million Switches this fiscal year (which runs from the beginning of April, to the end of March 2023). That may sound like a lot, but it is down 30 percent from the high point in fiscal year 2020, when they produced nearly 29 million Switches.
