Space Exploration Technologies Corporation’s (SpaceX) plans to conduct an orbital test flight of its Starship next-generation launch vehicle system were dealt a blow on Monday when the company’s booster prototype sitting on the launch pad in Boca Chica, Texas faced an anomaly resulting in an explosion. SpaceX has rolled out Starship’s first stage booster, dubbed Booster 7 and the upper stage spacecraft to the pad as it aims to conduct a series of tests to verify their systems before launching them to orbit later this year and land both of them to demonstrate reusability with what will be the world’s largest rocket once operational....
Space Exploration Technologies Corporation’s (SpaceX) bid to launch its Starship next generation rocket to orbit as part of a test flight faced a major setback earlier this week after the rocket’s first stage booster saw a massive explosion take place due to a fuel-rich air mixture. The explosion did not damage the booster or the surrounding launch tower, but the company will have to transport the rocket back to its heavy bay from the launch site in Boca Chica, Texas in order to inspect the engine and ensure that they are prepared for pre-launch testing....

So, what kind of third-party reveals can we expect? Will we only be seeing smaller indie-type games, or can we expect a major reveal or two? Well, according to wanton leaker Jeff Grubb, the full reveal of Street Fighter 6 is likely something included in the show. Grubb was one of the ones who predicted a State of Play in early June, so that might add a bit of credence to these latest rumors....
Intriguingly, PC users can also enable ray tracing simply by adding -dx12 as a launch parameter on Steam. As you can see in the comparison shots below, this adds ray traced reflections, shadows, and ambient occlusion to Stray. Stray seems a great fit for ray tracing, given that it is set in a cyberpunk-like city populated only by robots and machines. Unfortunately, the game does not support any image reconstruction techniques like NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Super Sampling or AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution....
